You’re Closer Than You Think
There comes a time in every journey when the weight feels heavier, the waiting feels longer, and your faith starts to wear thin. You’ve been believing, praying, staying faithful — and yet nothing seems to be changing. That’s when the enemy whispers, “It’s not working. You’re wasting your time. It’s never going to happen.”
But I want to tell you something that may shift everything: you are closer than you think.
The struggle intensifies right before the breakthrough. The pressure increases when you're on the edge of something greater. Just because you don’t see progress on the outside doesn’t mean something powerful isn’t happening beneath the surface. God often does His deepest work in the silence. He stretches you, strengthens you, and refines you in the waiting. What feels like a delay isn’t a denial — it’s divine preparation.
So many people walk away when they’re just one prayer, one day, one step away from the door opening. They give up because they can't see what's on the other side of the mountain. But if God showed you everything in advance, it wouldn't require faith. He’s asking you to trust Him not just when it’s easy, but when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to stay in position. Keep showing up. Keep doing the right thing even when it feels unnoticed. Keep speaking life even when you're surrounded by silence. You don’t know which act of obedience will be the one that shifts everything, so treat every day like it matters — because it does.
You might be tempted to focus on how far you still have to go, but don’t forget how far you’ve already come. You’re not who you used to be. You’ve grown through the struggle. You’ve learned how to fight in faith. That pain wasn’t pointless — it was preparation. Even if your surroundings haven’t changed yet, you’ve changed. That alone means progress is happening.
In moments of frustration, be mindful of your words. What you speak over your life shapes your reality. Don’t cancel your future by agreeing with fear. Instead, declare the promise. Even if you feel broken, speak healing. Even if doors have closed, speak favor. Even if nothing looks different, speak like the answer is already on its way. Because it is.
You may be tired. You may feel discouraged. But don’t you dare quit. The same God who brought you through before is still working behind the scenes now. He’s lining up the right people, the right timing, the right opportunity. He’s not finished with your story — and what’s coming is greater than what’s been.
You didn’t come this far to stop here. Don’t quit five minutes before your miracle. Don’t back down when you’ve already come through the hardest part. This season might be stretching you, but it’s also preparing you for something beyond what you imagined.
You’re not lost. You’re not forgotten. And you’re not running out of time.
You’re closer than you think.
