A Prayer for Letting Go of Guilt We Were Never Meant to Carry
Heavenly Father, we come before You carrying guilt that has weighed heavily on our hearts. Help us recognize what is ours to make right and what was never ours to carry. Forgive us for our wrongs, and guide us toward healing, honesty, and peace. Where we have taken responsibility for another person's choices, teach us to release that burden. Remind us that love does not require us to abandon our needs or punish ourselves forever. Give us courage to set healthy boundaries, wisdom to learn from our mistakes, and grace to accept Your forgiveness. Quiet the accusing thoughts within us. Help us walk forward gently with compassion, trusting that Your mercy welcomes us into a new beginning today.
