A Prayer to Let Go of the Past
Heavenly Father,
We come before You carrying memories that still hurt, mistakes we cannot undo, and wounds that have followed us too long. Help us release the guilt, shame, anger, and fear that keep our hearts tied to yesterday. Teach us to forgive those who hurt us, even when the pain feels deep, and give us grace to forgive ourselves. Remind us that our past may be part of our story, but it does not control our future. Restore our peace, renew our minds, and strengthen our faith. Close every door that keeps us trapped in regret. Lead us into healing, freedom, purpose, and new beginnings. We trust You to turn our pain into wisdom, our scars into strength, and our broken places into testimony.
